Challenge
BERO is a premium non-alcoholic beer founded by Tom Holland, born in London and crafted in America, launching into a high-profile market with a vision for serious international growth. Most early-stage brands start on spreadsheets and disconnected tools, then pay to untangle them later. The question wasn't whether BERO needed real systems, but whether to build them now or fix it all later.
Approach
BERO us in and the conversation started with intent rather than a template: how do we want to operate, what processes matter most, where do we need flexibility. From there we configured NetSuite from day one for purchase orders, inventory management, cost tracking, and financial integration, so the system became the single source of truth before the brand ever shipped a unit. Our team mapped SKUs against projected product lines knowing strategy would shift, and treated ongoing SKU adjustments as a small, expected cost of getting the big decisions right. Our decades of work with F&B startups meant the build addressed the real challenges of the category: BOM flexibility for recipes, lot traceability, inventory allocation, and real-time profitability by product line.
Results
BERO launched on NetSuite with full operational visibility from day one — the team always knows what's selling, where inventory sits, and what each product costs to make, which is invaluable when decisions happen at startup speed. New hires onboard into a professional, data-driven operation instead of a patchwork of tools, and BERO has the foundation to scale rapidly without excessive overhead.
